This property has huge character and encompasses a range of styles having undergone continuous development since the 16th century. The house, a substantial country home with stunning landscaped grounds, underwent an internal remodelling with fitted bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and a bespoke kitchen all designed and made in Nutshell’s joinery workshop. It also gained a bespoke staircase and the floors were levelled throughout. This project called for materials and workmanship of the highest order, including extensive use of specialist marble in all the bathrooms.

In addition, Nutshell also converted and improved the property’s nearby stud farm. The traditional 18th-century tithe barn was converted into an office and educational space. Extensive stabling was completely modernised and a specialist state-of -art veterinary inspection room was added.

Our favourite features include… it’s all so beautiful, but the bathrooms take a bit of beating!
